Destination Managers and Tourist Officers
Future Footprints is working in partnership with Destination Managers and Tourism Officers across the region to maximise the effectiveness of the Future Footprints campaign, to encourage visitors to take small steps to make their trip to the South West more sustainable. Future Footprints can support Destination Management Organisations deliver the visitor facing elements of your Destination Managment Plan. The Future Footprints Steering Group includes representation from Local Government who support and inform our work. But we also want to share good practice and support the delivery of strategies which reach visitors and encourage more sustainable tourism. How do you inform and influence visitors? Best Practice from the region There are many pioneering examples of sustainable tourism initiatives which have been led by local government in the South West.
